Even better espresso thanks to PUCK SCREEN.

Thanks to a better distribution of water on the pressed ground coffee, we achieve better both taste and sensory results.

Everything is 100% food grade. The advantage is the magnetic material. HEAVY TAMPER arranged for the PS to come out better and more readily, so he modified the handle by inserting a magnet on the top of the handle to make it practical and highly functional.

From the HEAVY TAMPER workshop, you can buy both a PUCK SCREEN and a tamper with a magnet, or just a handle with a magnet, which fits most bases thanks to the M10 thread and diameter o30mm.

Product detailed description

Parameters :

1.4301 Alloy stainless steel, austenitic with reduced carbon content

Marking of steel

Stainless steel (AISI 304, ČSN 17240), chrome nickel X5CrNi 18-9

Stainless steel and its use

Stainless steel is suitable for deep drawing and is intended for exposure at very low or elevated temperatures.
This steel is suitable for the construction of aggregates and pressure vessels in the chemical, energy, fermentation or food industries. Furthermore, this type of stainless steel is used for components that are supposed to ensure high purity of the product. In an aggressive environment, the use of steel is limited to a temperature of 350°C.

Stainless steel resistance

Steel is well resistant to intergranular corrosion, and when applying steel in a strongly corrosive environment, it is necessary to anneal the entire welded part. For surface corrosion, the steel is resistant to nitric acid and strong organic acids. Surface corrosion resistance can be increased by polishing.
The steel is also resistant to oxidation at elevated temperatures in air up to 850°C, in oxidizing environments containing SO2 up to 750°C, in reducing environments containing sulfur (containing H2S) up to 600°C and in spaces with steam up to 750°C C.
